In 2005, the SoupMobile introduced the Christmas Angel Project. The core concept of the Christmas Angel Project was to provide homeless men and women a warm, safe, and magical Christmas at one of Dallas's finest hotels. Ever since, the SoupMobile has rented out the Skyline Tower at the Dallas Hyatt Regency and provides homeless a place to stay each Christmas. The CAP is truly a magical experience for the homeless people and all involved from the moment the buses let the homeless off at the hotel. The homeless get off the busses to walk down a red carpet, surrounded by hundreds of cheering volunteers, where they are given room keys, new clothes, and gifts. In addition, they are provided with a fabulous banquet serving the highest quality of food.
